St Theodore’s Anglican Church Nursing Scholarship 2022 is inviting credible applicants who are willing to partake in its ongoing 2022 Scholarship programme at Flinders University
Flinders University was founded in 1966 as a public research university in Adelaide. The university is ranked amongst the world’s top 300 institutions according to the Times Higher Education rankings.
Benefits of St Theodore’s Anglican Church Nursing Scholarship
The scholarship will provide a contribution towards a living allowance and travel costs, and subject to the availability of funds, will be awarded to one student with a total value of $2,000 annually.
Requirements for St Theodore’s Anglican Church Nursing Scholarship Qualification
Applicants for the scholarship must:
- be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
- identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
- be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
- be enrolled in, or intending to enroll in, a PEP topic in the second or third year of
- the Bachelor of Nursing at Flinders University; and
- be undertaking the placement in a rural venue as defined by the Australian
- Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Areas 2-5 excluding Mount Barker; and
- the clinical education facility has been approved by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Interview date, Process, and Venue for St Theodore’s Anglican Church Nursing Scholarship
The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the applicant’s commitment to working in a rural or remote area upon completion of their studies.
Selection of the candidate(s) will be made by a panel that will include representatives from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement.
