The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Monday affirmed that COVID-19 cases in Africa has arrived at 3,891,047.

As per the mainland disease control and counteraction office’s COVID-19 dashboard, the loss of life identifying with the pandemic currently remains at 103,519.

It also revealed that a total of 3,463,677 people infected with COVID-19 had recovered across the continent.

The Southern Africa region is the most COVID-19-affected area on the continent, followed by the Northern Africa region, according to the agency.

The African countries with the highest number of positive cases include South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, and Ethiopia.

Meanwhile, Nigeria on Sunday recorded 240 fresh cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 13 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, additionally affirmed that the country currently has an all out number of 155,657 affirmed cases.
